The Antelope Valley is home to Edwards Air Force Base and US Air Force Plant 42.  It is a culturally diverse area with industry ranging from farming to aerospace and is located approximately 75 miles north of Los Angeles in sunny California. The Antelope Valley is world renown for its aviation achievements including the first supersonic flight by General Chuck Yeager, over 50 years ago and was the original Space Shuttle landing site. It was also the assembly place of the SR-71, U-2, B-1 and Space Shuttle. The Antelope Valley Chapter Membership is comprised of Government and Contractor personnel representing JT3 LLC, Boeing, USAF PKMI, DCMA Plant 42, Lockheed Martin, RSI and Tybrin Corp. to name a few.
